We Love Our Nurses!

It's National Nurse's Week!  Who better to celebrate than our very own Angels in Scrubs Katie & Megan!  My dream is that on my deathbed, these two dedicated nurses will show up at my bedside looking like this:
Gals, you'd do this for your dying mother/auntie, wouldn't you?  At least wear the hat.

In honor of our nurses, here are a few vintage photos of our favorite profession:

May your week of recognition include a steamy embrace in the meds closet!

could not agree more. When Meg was sick in the hospital (after having Carson) and we get wheeled up to her room at 2 am, in walks her nurse and she looked exactly like that Barbie, probably the best part of the whole experience. Sure brought some levity to the situation.

Sure mom, give a shout out to the nurses but ignore your oldest. It is teacher appreciation week you know, and the nurses wouldn't be nurses if it wasn't for their teachers. ;)

Happy nurses week ladies. We all know you are the ones who have the real power in the hospital!

Oh Lavs - I love this post so much (and the teacher one too) - I want them to show up at my bed with the hat, cape and black needle please.

I'll make her wear a cape. Worry not.

I'm always amazed at the jobs nurses do. I wish I could do it but I can't. Kip is our nurse at home. I remember falling and getting gravel stuck in my palm. I was fine leaving it there for the rest of my life...
