It's my baby girl's 31st birthday today. How did you get to be this grown up, Ramona? As you can see, she's always had that happy smile, those sparkling brown eyes, lots of hair (except for that time Cara cut all your hair off in the back and you got that pixie cut in the upper right), and those big dimples.
Easiest baby to raise ever. Loved her naps, perfectly willing to hit the sack at 6 pm and stay there until 7 the next morning. With her thumb and her blankie, she was good to go (in fact, we had a few times where she sucked that thumb so much, she got a sore on the poor thing). Loved her big sissies like nobody's business, and they were usually willing to let her tag along. Little brother? Yay, somebody to boss around and translate his speech until age 2. Independent: in kindergarten, she insisted on walking BY HERSELF. And would take a different route home every day to throw Bruddy and I off her trail. Smart, so smart. Too smart.
Katie, you have been a delight and a joy since day one. And getting to share a home with you as an adult is even better. You're my road trip pal, my grand puppy's mom, and someone who "gets" me. Love you doll!
