Week 27 Results


Another little gain .4 lbs. Damn. But at least I showed up and weighed in right? This week our challenge is to make half the dinner plate veg, and to either eat beets or radishes. Cara LOVES beets for some insane reasone; I do NOT love beets. So I guess I am stuck with radishes.

i do love beets!!! i gained 1 lb this week. Is there anything worse than gaining? Especially when you dont cheat or go over your points at all?

hey Car, what are you doing up so late :-) Yeah it sucks to gain, but I totes deserved it. Promise to journal this week (at least most days). Eat some beets for me!

blech, neither veg is a very good choice in my opinion... both are fairly yucky. but i like the 1/2 your plate rule. and i gained 3 (but totally deserved it as i haven't been to a meeting in like 3 weeks and went out of town too)

Hey L try roasting thos beets. I haven't tried it but find most veggies roasted are great. Brush a small amount of olive oil on a cookie sheet, sprinkle with salt and pepper than top with veggie. Cook in oven at 400 degrees till desired doneness, a little crispier is usually good. I absolutely love bean and asparagus this way.

I love the asparagus and gr. beans this way. Will have to try beets, def. the ONLY way I would ever be likely to like them!

Beets and radishes...GACK! They are just asking for you to fall off the wagon. How hideous.
