4th of July Fun
no pix, as my camera batteries died...but we had a beautiful 2 days up camping at Priest Lake. The weather was HOT and sunny, so most of my time was spent on the beach or in the (still pretty chilly) water. Once again, my new air mattress would not stay inflated. Is this a sign that a chunky couple cannot share an air mattress?? Next time we go camping, it's going to be to a hotel :-)

ah, but then it's not 'camping.' i agree that 2 chunky people should definitely NOT share an air mattress though... nor should 2 people of vastly different weights (also shouldn't share a waterbed LOL)
Katie - it's camping when there is no gift shop and/or room service. The End.
If I make smores in the hotel microwave is it camping?
maybe if you use a candle? LOL
(flames are a definite must when making smores, not to mention the mallows will blow up in the 'wave a la peeps.)
plus, you need to be able to get really sticky and gross while making smores... hotel makes it too easy to wash up
i think i would give my right arm for a camp-fire cooked smore right now!! damn WW
agreed, Car. There's really no lo-cal sub for a good ole sticky smore.
