Those who follow 'Fluther' are prolly aware that my family has a whole dictionary of family-centric names and terms. We coined a new one at this weekend's get-together. In my opinion, it's a keeper:
LAPOXIA: noun. Originally given to Tate's little clothespin dolly she made this weekend, then gave a case of chicken pox to (little dolly is evidently weak and prone to illness). When Tate was thinking up names, I suggested Lapoxia. Tate refused that name for some reason, but Katie and I were off. Tate finally gave up and we started calling people who were annoying us 'Lapoxia'. Seems like a totes perfect name to call someone who is bugging the shit out of you, doesn't it?

I'm glad you blogged this - Lapoxia is totes the best name EVER. fits an annoying person to a tee! :) plus, there is really nothing funnier than an exasperated 6 year old thinking that she is 10 times more mature than her 28/54 year old counterparts LOL.
sadly she IS more mature. But we wore her down, and you KNOW next year in first grade SOMEONE in her class is gonna be named Lapoxia..
i was kind of overhearing the Lopoxia conversation, not enought that I could figure out why Tate sounded so annoyed. She is such a serious cutie.
I love Lapoxia for an annoying person. Never to young to start a new Sundstrom-ism. And Tate is more mature then any of us, but we'll eventually wear her down out of that trait!
She can't have a lot of hope can she? Too many crazy relatives.
No, she's pretty much doomed to doing stuff like making up spazzy new words with her relatives.
and another, i emailed Ryan yesterday about a "pockety" car seat (I think you use that term) which to me should be unbalanced. Not missing a beat he told me he would be by to fix it. Is that one in?
Bockety zaide not pockety
it is bockety, you goof ball...
bockety should def. be in the S.D., tho I stole it from Angela's Ashes. I think F. McC. would be ok with us claiming it.
