no they are WOOD with a chain. But they are under strict orders from Master Kim that they cannot use them anywhere except the dojang or else they lose them AND their yellow belts. So hopefully that will work bc they are a little bit scared of him

they aren't the wood ones so we might live. Liam got his 'tape' taken off (that's what they get on their belts when they are ready to test for the next level), but he earned it back next day. So far, no dents in heads or concussions, but the NC's have been put out of reach more than once. ;-*
