Saturday Fun

I went over to spend the afternoon with my godson Alex, while mom and the other big boys went skiing. Alex is a very sensible, and wanted nothing to do with spending a day out in the freezing cold weather.
We had a great time, especially when I found the instructions for making the 'fortune teller' on the interweb! Remember this great game from grade school? It's still just as fun! Of course, I tried to put a few nice things in the 'fortunes', but Al loved the 'mean' stuff I wrote under the flaps, like 'you are stinky', 'you will become a house-elf when you grow up', 'you will get a Barbie doll for your next birthday'. We played with this little toy for at least an hour. Guaranteed laugh riot for little kids!
It's snowing like MAD here, we are supposed to get quite a bit. UGH.

what's MASH?

Mansion, apartment, shack, house...it's only the game that decides your future!!! Tells you home many kids you'll have, who you'll marry, how many pets, etc. What the hell is wrong with you???

I DON'T KNOW! I never played that one. Guess that is why I never lived in a mansion ;-(

I loved MASH and the fortune game. As much as I hate snow, seeing it sure makes me miss it!!

ok - the davis/longinotti children are weird - i never heard of MASH either - and asked loutie and kookoo - who thought I was strange . . .

evidently you had to live in Frontier Heights to have heard of this game..

I can't believe you never played MASH! It's only the greatest game ever. Maybe I should start playing again; it might help me on my husband search!

Peeps - forget the husband - get the China baby - although I may have someone in mind for you - but I forget who and where I talked to him . . . so never mind!

hey the FUG girls mentioned MASH today, I guess it is for reals: "Doodling your names jointly inside a big heart all over a spiral notebook and then frantically doing MASH, trying to cheat so that you end up married, living in a mansion, driving a Ferrari, working as a movie star, having three kids, and owning stacks of emeralds, seems like it's more of a girly response."
