A Dream Come True!

FINALLY! I got Pia & Katie to go to a mega-garage sale with me! Yeah, my dream come true! They were looking for a couch for their soon-to-be new apartment, but were outta luck. I found some good knitting & crochet patterns, plus made Katie buy me a bag of peanut brittle, so it was win-win-win for Lavs.

I KNOW. Against all my principles but it's like one of those holiday shows, except for cheapskates.

Hey lady, no more yarn...did you read the story! The boys are going to be starved to death in no time. And GACK...when I think of holiday shows all I can think of are reindeers made of clothes pins and felt. But hooray for the peanut brit.

lol, the PB was scrumptious. And the boys are fine with my yarn stash, where else are they going to find materials for their monster traps?

I read the story and for the life of me could NOT figure out what the angle was with the yarn stash - other than the reporter was not a crafts person and led a dull life - I didn't think 72 projects was out of line or that her stash was unusual - my children were never starved or beaten! And they never drank out of the toilet either - although I think the boys tried to drink out of Uncle Marshall's bidet once . . .
