More Stuff I'm Working On

"Child's Faux Fair Isle" cardigan.  This is a commission project, I am trading my work for some lovely Treliske organic wool.  Back and Left Front are done!

The yarn and beads for my KAL Halloween Mystery Shawl.  The yarn is super soft, in Midnight Velvet colorway (dark red/black) and the beads are garnet with metallic.  Very Morticia Addams!

YIKES! You didn't do steeking on the child's sweater?! Just back and forth fair-isle?! I think I need to lie down....

no steeks. Back and forth, which I hate doing but I'm gritting my teeth and going for it.

okay what the hell is a steek? (does it us A-1 sauce???) That yarn looks gorgeous, can't wait to see.

oh the mysterious world of knitting! You can knit a sweater in the round, then you cut the center front and the armholes -- those areas where you knit then cut are called steeks.
