of the "Ravelympics" competition that is. I started my Alice Starmore "Erin" cardigan during the opening ceremonies, and by the time Li Ning was flying around the Bird's Nest, I decided this color combo was just too fugly for words. So back in the box it all goes. Maybe 2010 will be my Knitting Olympics year...

ok that's a much better use of the yarn!
loved the comment about the birds nest
hey, aren't you supposed to speak english on this blog?? What!!???
all right Zaide, what part of this don't you understand? Here's a definition chart:
1. Ravelympics: Ravelry (knitting site that is way cool) is having a knit along during the Olympics, you are supposed to start/finish a project during the 10 days. Me, failure day 1.
2. Li Ning: famous Chinese Olympian who lit the torch suspends by wires (Li, not the torch)
3. The Bird's Nest: Olympic Stadium
4. Jamieson's: brand of yarn I was using, 5 skeins borrowed from Susna's stash
5. Duncan: sweater that Susna was SUPPOSED to be knitting with above Jamieson's yarn.
