Our girl Lucy is normally pretty obedient (she listens to her mama, not so much to her grammy). But yesterday our little girl decided to be sassy. She trotted out the back gate while we were futzing around in the garage and headed up the alley to see what she could see. Katie called her, whistled, and yelled but Lulu just kept trotting.
She finally got nabbed a block away, after doing that annoying "I'm going to let you get ALMOST within arm's reach, then keep moving".
Boy, did she get in trouble! Mama restricted her to the house all afternoon. No playing out in the yard, no hanging out with "Bet Wens" (that's Best Friends Shadow and Pumpkin next door), no fun AT ALL.
I think she is off Death Row today, but she'd better not try that bad acting again, or all of her toys are going into lockup.

oh she was such a "Maddie" yesterday - one pair of scissors short of being on uber-timeout! :)
guess it's back to dog-school for us...
thank god she does not have opposable thumbs.
looks as though Lulu and Mads are both headed to the big house.
that is the WORST. I hate it when dogs *and children* don't listen. You want to punch them. In the face. And yet our social mores forbid it. Shoot.
at least Lulu and Mads will enjoy each other's company in the hoosegow. And Lis, you poor thing, we can tell it's been a trying week. Zaide & my offer to adopt Maddie still stands (me bc I am desperate for a grandchild, even a naughty one, Zaids bc she want GC #5 and figures if she takes the naughty girl, you'll feel a gap and need to fill it with a new baby). And that's what I call Win-Win-Win.
