Swatchin'

For you non-knitters, a 'swatch' is a little sample square knit using your selected yarn and needles, to make sure your work is the right size etc. Or in my case, the swatch is defined as something I seldom bother to make.
But I did make one for my "Mystic Roses" shawl (another mystery knitalong), to ensure that it looked okay before I went to a heinous amount of work and then discovered I didn't like it.
I think this is going to be pretty, I'm currently in love with orangey-reds, so this is perfect!

Ooh, I like it mom. Way to be a swatch maker! Are you back down to one shawl in progress now? I'm almost done with my clapotis shawl. Think I'll have her finished tonight.

you are finishing things! yay! I have temporarily abandoned my Halloween mystery shawl due to not wanting to deal with beads right now and also abandoned the Mystic Ice KAL since I didn't like the yarn I purchased for it. So now I'm going to do this one :-)

I am finishing things. I finished my shawl while watching the Zags desecrate St. Mary's!
