I FINALLY finished Katie's Haiku Contest prize, and here it is:
"The Pillow of K. Longinotti" features strips woven into the knitted pillow. Each strip is one of the haikus written by Fluther readers in my contest.
Plus, of course, the grand prize winner, "Joseph" in its entirety.
Thanks, Pia, for taking the pix for me. And I don't know K's reaction yet, bc she is gone this weekend. But I predict total awe and love.

Pretty much the most amazing thing you have ever knit...hands down. And although I am still green with envy over Kate's win, I do think she'll love it!
i LOVE it!!!
It's pretty amazing people. I wonder if there's a way I can steal it when we are no longer roommates...
maybe she will rent it out for special occasions. And it IS totally amazing. I was laughing through the whole process of writing all the haiku on the little strips of cloth. It's priceless.
OH L-dine, you are truly amazing. The next contest you run will be especially fierce when the winners know what the potential prize might be. I can only imagine the comfort and joy she will have each night being able to ponder the Joseph epitat. Katie you lucky little one!!!
"Total awe and love" pretty much sums it up - it is super cute!!! Thanks mom!
That IS the best prizer ever. Next time I'll be the winner.
