At least I hope the B has received her Haiku Contest prize. If not, stop reading now Mary Beth!
This is the super appropriate Grand Prize for the Fluther Haiku Contest. Meet JOSEPH. I have a pattern for a knitted Nativity Set (Alan Dart, and I def. need to make it, it's super cute). Could this BE any better for the authoress of that timeless classic in poetry "Joseph"? I expect Joe to have a place of honor in your home Mrs. D.
And in further contest/prize news, I just came up with the MOST BRILLS idea for Katie's prize. As you may recall, she was the chief whiner about B-Z winning the contest with a non-haiku entry, so I threw her a bone and gave her 2nd prize.
I'm not at liberty to tell what the prize is, but let me assure you, it's going to be beyond great. It's going to take me a little while to knit it, but it'll be worth the wait Katie!

Please let it be another armless cat! It'd be perfect for our little Kitty. Love the Joseph mom, so glad you finally got to BZ.
No it's even more fabulous than Kate the Quadraplegic Cat!
So Charlten Heston-like...
Joseph is awesome, even better in real life! ;) and i am anxiously awaiting my ornament...
OMG...I have been out of email commission for the last few days so knew nothing about Joseph until I opened the package last night. People, this pic does not do him justice, it is adorable. L, you outdid yourself, little knitted hair, a scarf and belt, beard, it is a knitted miniature wonder. I ABSOLUTELY LOVE IT and cracked up when I opened it. You could not have picked a better prize, can't imagine what Katies will be. It for sure will have a place of honor, I want to see it all the time and am thinking of the rear view mirror BUT know someone will break my car window to get it. It is already adored. thanks L.
nothing like a good gift recipient! Glad Joey-Love is being enjoyed!
you crack me up!
I was there when be opened her prize (my eyes were daggers of jealousy) and when we both realized it was Joseph we about fell of the steps. It was perfect!
