I've never been an animal person (phobia #873), but Lucy has definitely brought a lot of fun and joy to my life. She is the sweetest girl, always smiling and happy, enjoying life as it comes. She and I spend a lot of time together (napping and just hanging out), and I've come to look forward to our Grammy and Grandpuppy times.
Hope your special day is filled with squeaky toys, ball chasing, lotion licking and all the other things you love so much!

Okay, there was one sentence in that Lucy post that caught my eye... I let her lick the lotion off of my leg. WTF? I have never had a dog do that until Rudder. is it a black lab thing? I seriously CAN'T put lotion on. He runs over and licks it all off which is totally not a good feeling. Now of course Madeline refuses lotion b/c of this.

yeah it's super weird, she just started it a few months ago. but Wally and Lola never did it, so who knows... crazy dogs.
