I've never heard of it either (in fact I kept thinking of "Croatan" of the lost Roanoke colony...) but it's warm, the water is blue, our house has a swimming pool, and after that, who cares? All I need is a stack of books and some suntan lotion and I'm good to go.
Now I HAVE to get serious about Weight Watchers, so I don't get mistaken for Moby Dick and harpooned by some Honduran fisherman.

you go first and than let me know if it's not too exotic...and bring sun screen NOT sun tan lotion (which is actually melted Crisco)
sun screen, that's what I meant (even tho I don't have your lily white skin Zaide). I most likely won't know if it's exotic or not, I plan to float in the pool for 7 days :-)
and don't forget your knitting...I knit some of my best stuff whilst away...more relaxed and adventurous, I think.

the knitting project(s) is the MOST important part of packing and the area I will spend the most time agonizing over. Hours on a plane, a week laying around relaxing in the sun...what to pack?
