Just got a whole bunch of emails from Paypal about tons of charges from Britain...which I didn't make. Hundreds of dollars (lucky me, I didn't actually HAVE hunskies in my paypal account so the really big ones didn't get authorized). But now I have the hassle of waiting for my replacement debit card to arrive, which always takes forever. And a little bit of a bad feeling about the trip :-(

Boo! That happened to me too - but from here and not PayPal - but the debit card thing. My Credit Union convinced me to get a low amount credit card to use on line as the rules are different for money getting back into your account
That sucks. I have had it too. Makes you feel pretty violated :-(

They block the card and removed all the fraudulent charges. No liability as long as you report it as soon as you know you've been screwed
but does someone just get your card numbers and start charging. Is this just an internet thing?
yep, I guess that is exactly what they do. Internet thing, and hope to get money before you figure out what the hell happened? Bastards.
