Here's the remnants of yet ANOTHER expensive Addi knitting needle that dear little Lucy decided made an excellent chew toy. Along with my lace project. Alas, the needles can't be salvaged, but the knitting project is back on new needles (and I've finally learned I need to put my knitting away!)

once again, she says she's sorry. it's not her fault she is so so bored b/c her mommy stupidly decided to go skiing last weekend... :(
hopefully her mom learned her lesson...
Oh Luce...BAD DOG. So frustrating when they do that. Rudder has missed his dinner a few times lately thanks to eating entire sticks of butter while counter surfing. I also make bread that we've now named rudder bread because he has eaten every single loaf I've made.
oh that's WAY worse than eating the random $16.00 knitting needles. Our old lab Otis once ate an entire roast beef that he snatched off the counter. I can't believe we didn't give that dog the black needle.
oh bummer! Lucy is super good about leaving food alone, thank goodness - she just gets bored and eats what she thinks are toys... but if you watch her she will leave everything alone! (including the pizza we had sitting at nose-height on the coffee table last night - didn't even look at it) so at least she has that going for her! :)
