Pay It Forward

We went through the Starbucks drive through yesterday, and the person ahead of us paid for our coffee. We did the same for the next car in line.

A small gesture, but it made me so happy. What a nice idea. Not a new one, I know, but I've never been treated before. Have you? Is this a regular thing at the SB drive-thru?

LOVE that! Wonder if it will work for walk-thru???

I have had this happen to me three times at SBucks, and have treated the person behind me too. It has made me smile each time, but I have yet to initiate it. Don't think it will work in the walk through because at the drive through you know what the person behind you has ordered by the time you are paying. Love this little bit of quirk. Also, did you come to Seattle last week, I am confused.

Yes we did, but it turned into a crazy weekend. We worked all day at vogue knitting show and Pia stayed at the Narodes, so things were not conducive to making visits. Next time :-)

That has never happened to me but I have heard of it.

I thought you weren't doing the show, what happened?

We ended up helping our local yarn store set their booth up, lots of work but fun

I've also had this happen before, but the other two times it was Freeman parents who recognized me. Super sweet when it happens!
