Feeling all Martha Stewart-y

Lorraine brought over some local eggs laid by 'happy hens' for our post-Bloomsday brunch. Aren't they pretty? Now I feel like Martha, and my weird obsession with having chickens is returning. Despite the fact that I am scared of chickens (plus just about all other birds), I really want a chicken or two for the back yard.
BTW Peeps bought me a fancy Belgian Waffle Maker for Mother's Day, it makes great waffle-ines!

Ew, please do NOT get chickens - when Lorraine had them I freaked out, you can't just let them run around either they need a coop, and they flock around you when you take the eggs... SICK SICK SICK

ok you scared me again. No chickens to attack me. I still have nightmares from when I was 4 years old and Judy's 4H chickens lived under the cedar tree and we were terrified. But then, Skyn would be the one taking care of them...

ask Meg about her creepy WSU chicken experiment, that'll cure ya. Am glad the attacking chickens were gone by the time I was 4.

Chickens are creepy. Just buy the eggs and save yourself bird nightmares. Glad you liked your new wafflemaker. It's fantastic!
