The Latest Fashion (in 1890)!

Here I am, doing my best Queen Victoria imitation.  Wearing "The Barrister's Wig" I just finished for My Year of Weldon's.

It's warm and cozy, also lightweight.  But maybe not my best look.  Still, it was fun to knit.

    So what do you do with all of this stuff after your year is up? The barristers wig has a pretty color...but maybe as you said, not the best look. :-)

    I'm guessing the Dress-Up box is going to filled with Victoriana.

    I'm hoping to put together a little trunk show to take to various yarn stores. Maybe a book...

    I guess if you also had to wear a corset and a long skirt every day, the barrister's wig wouldn't be the worst part of your outfit.
