Pretty!

Here's my beautiful new ring that Pia and Katie bought for me at Artfest.  It's each child's birthstone.  And even hiddy August Peridot looks good!  I love it so so so much.

Plus, Artfest this year was super fun.  It's the first time I've been to our yearly art festival without there being a torrential downpour.  Lots of good artists this year, and it was neat that so many of them were creating fantastic art using found/recycled materials.

    I actually like peridot a lot better than I used to. That green color has grown on me. But I still wish I was garnet...

    very cute L, and I normally do not like the birthstone ring, and it makes your fingers look good too, I might have to look into one. Our art fairs start up soon, can't wait.

    I don't usually go for the birthstone jewelry either, but fell in love with these. And the artist tried to get me to trade (partial) for my pink Edgar Martinez t-shirt, but no dice. Also those are Pia's fingers, but mine look pretty much the same, except for more wrinkles...
