She is EL FABA! Gosh, I'm a loser too, I couldn't get through Wicked either. But LOVED the musical...maybe the words in the book were just too big;).
that MUST be it, no multi syllable words in our reading material. At least we know who will play Elphaba in the 2020 revival of Wicked.
i'm with you Megs, the musical was WAY easier to get through - maybe the songs helped LOL!
It's just a weird writing style. I didn't really get into it until the second part. I guess that's just Maguire...
I did like the first part, but lost interest as the book progressed. I dunno why.
you must have been short of yarn during the second part - because I got WAY into it by then . . .
